About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Principal Hydrologist to join our team at Neo Environmental Ltd. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality flood risk assessments, SuDs schemes, and hydraulic modeling services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and delivery of Flood Risk Assessment and SuDs schemes
  • Conducting hydraulic modeling and producing associated reports
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects
  • Organizing and conducting site visits, attending team and client meetings
  • Undertaking extensive modeling work and report writing
Requirements
  • Relevant hydrology qualification and chartered or working towards chartership (preferably ICE)
  • Experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, and Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro, HEC-RAS, or similar programme
  • Demonstrable experience of the successful delivery of hydrology reports
  • Good knowledge and understanding of UK legislation
  • Ability to produce reports for clients, requiring attention to detail, reliability, and good organizational skills
  • Experience in GIS and other software packages
  • Full driving license
Desirable Criteria
  • Master's degree relevant to hydrology
  • Experience in peat stability and related assessments
  • Strong scientific and engineering knowledge in relation to hydrology
  • Tendering/bid preparation experience
  • Production of EIA Chapters
