We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrologist to lead our Water Environment team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of projects, develop relationships with clients and regulators, and mentor and develop other consultants.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in hydrological and hydraulic modelling, with experience in Flood Modeler Pro or TUFLOW. They will also possess a good understanding of the Environment Agency and Lead Local Flood Authorities, as well as up-to-date knowledge of current planning policies and procedures.

As a key member of our team, the Senior Hydrologist will be responsible for developing and implementing flood risk management strategies, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects. They will also be expected to contribute to business development and growth, identifying new opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients.

Requirements include:

  • Strong background in hydrological and hydraulic modelling
  • Experience in Flood Modeler Pro or TUFLOW
  • Good understanding of the Environment Agency and Lead Local Flood Authorities
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current planning policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
