Quality Engineer Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Quality Engineer Intern. This role will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the introduction of new products and parts within our plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of the NPI coordinator to introduce new, unique, and upgraded parts and products within the plant.
  • Collaborate with external business functions to understand the entire new part introduction process from initial engineering design through to full production implementation.
  • Attend design review meetings and complete engineering design reviews for the NPI department.
  • Create and manage production process documentation, as well as record and update issues on the database.
  • Support NPI engineering builds through the manufacturing process and organize and lead meetings with various stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • We are looking for applicants studying towards a bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or related subjects.
  • Good PC literacy and knowledge of 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Fusion 360, as well as MS Office.
  • Practical approach to support technical innovation, ability to recommend improvements, and manage own projects.
  • Attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills, time management, and prioritization skills, and a proactive attitude.
