We are seeking Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join our team at Strategy Education. This role requires candidates to have strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills to support students with special education needs (SEND).
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the Responsibilities
- Provide support to students with special education needs (SEND) in a primary, secondary, or FE SEN setting
- Work in small groups or one-to-one with students, providing individualized support
- Participate in planning and preparation activities to ensure student success
About the Requirements
- Proven experience as a teaching assistant in a SEN classroom environment (minimum 6 weeks)
- Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK (with a valid visa)
- Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
