We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Neurological Therapist to join our team in East Suffolk. As a key member of our interdisciplinary stroke team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients recovering from stroke. Your expertise will help us to achieve our goal of maximizing patients' independence and quality of life.

Job Overview

Main Duties
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' functional abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted treatment plans
  2. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care provision, aligning with the Suffolk Stroke Pathway
  3. Implement and evaluate evidence-based rehabilitation programs, adapting to individual patient needs and goals
  4. Supervise junior staff, rehab assistants, and students on placement, fostering a culture of learning and growth
Person Specification

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • BSc/Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification, with HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate experience working within neurology/stroke care, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practice guidelines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
