About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong clinical background in neurology and stroke care. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist rehabilitation services to patients following a stroke, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation">
  • Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care">
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers to promote optimal rehabilitation outcomes">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A BSc or MSc degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution">
  • Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist">
  • Experience working in neurology or stroke care, with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team">
