Job Description

The Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency is seeking a skilled Diversity and Inclusion Strategist to join their team. This role will be responsible for managing the Wellbeing for Life Service, overseeing staff, volunteers, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Service Management: Effective management of the Wellbeing for Life Service, including staff, volunteers, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.
  2. Project Development: Developing, implementing, and evaluating existing and new projects in line with PCP's Strategic Plan.
  3. Quality Assurance: Ensuring PCP and commissioner requirements and standards are met or exceeded.
  4. Leadership: Supporting PCP's strategic development through active involvement in the Senior Leadership Team.
  5. Community Engagement: Working within the Adult Wellbeing Service governance arrangements to develop and deliver support for communities across County Durham.
  6. Operational Delivery: Strategically managing and ensuring effective operational delivery of the Wellbeing for Life Service.
  7. Team Leadership: Leading and managing a team to deliver a multi-agency partnership approach to improving health and reducing health inequalities.
  8. Policy Development: Developing relevant multi-agency Standard Operating Practices and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  9. Risk Management: Maintaining risk, governance, and information assets tracking and monitoring systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in wellbeing services, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
