As a Rehab Support worker at St. Andrew's, you will play a vital role in empowering our patients to build and maintain skills essential for their return to the community. Working closely with Occupational Therapists, you will promote and enhance patients' mobility, self-care, productivity, leisure, and daily activities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

">
  • Assisting patients to maximize potential for independence and live a more fulfilling life by helping them learn new skills in areas such as personal hygiene, financial management, healthy lifestyle, and tenancy and housing.
  • Maintaining and monitoring clinical assessments and interventions.
  • Collaborating with the wider healthcare team, patient, carer, and families to ensure seamless care.
  • Engaging patients and their families in co-production of ward and charity projects.

For this rewarding role, we require:

  • Experience working within a mental health service, particularly with challenging patients.
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with patients.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • BLS (British Sign Language) skills and an understanding of Deaf Culture.
