Account Manager

HB People Recruitment & HR Specialists is seeking a skilled Account Manager to drive business growth and development.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of customers within the Chocolate and Confectionery product range. This will involve close collaboration with manufacturing partners, customers, and cross-functional internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, plan, and manage assigned client accounts to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and sustain strong, strategic relationships both internally and externally.
  • Oversee costings within the Product Development Process, including negotiating pricing with manufacturing partners.
  • Ensure the timely and successful execution of projects, meeting the needs of customers and manufacturing partners.
  • Present sales reports and provide clear communication on the progress of key initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop growth opportunities by collaborating with the wider team and manufacturing partners.
  • Manage high-priority requests or escalate issues when necessary.
  • Negotiate pricing and manage expenditures, aligning with strategic, budgetary, and forecast goals.
Requirements
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerate abilities.
  • Minimum 3 years of Own Label Account Management experience preferred.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a high level of attention to detail.
