About Your New Role

We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our National Large Loss team at Weightmans, a leading law firm specializing in complex personal injury claims. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to senior case handlers in managing high-value claims arising from Road Traffic Accidents, Employer's Liability, and Public Liability incidents.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist fee earners with case management, legal research, drafting of witness statements, and preparation for court hearings.
  • Attend client meetings and court hearings to support fee earners.
  • Assist with the instruction of Counsel and experts.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to correspondence and telephone enquiries from clients and other parties.
  • Achieve set financial and chargeable targets.
  • Support the team's business development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with key dates and Court deadlines.
  • Organize and arrange expert appointments and conferences.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with previous experience as a Paralegal and a genuine interest in personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and concentration.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Knowledge of CPR procedure with proven technical ability.
