Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in London. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small group support to students with SEN under the guidance of the SENCo and classroom teachers.
- Collaborate with the SENCo, teachers, and parents to ensure students' progress and well-being.
- Develop and implement targeted support plans to meet the needs of students with SEN.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment that values diversity and promotes social inclusion.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a secondary school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
