Application Requirements:

• Proven experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum, with a deep understanding of their needs and effective strategies for support.
• A relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs or a related field is desirable.
• Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students and their families.
• A genuine passion for working with children and a dedication to their educational and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, assisting them in their educational and social development.
• Collaborate with teachers to create and implement individualised learning plans and strategies.
• Monitor and assess the progress of students, providing feedback and reporting on their achievements and areas for improvement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the well-being and learning of all students.
• Engage with parents and carers to provide updates and discuss strategies for supporting their child's development.
