Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with experienced educators to provide support to students with special educational needs or those requiring additional help.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons, ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience.
  • Work one-to-one or in small groups with students to help them achieve their learning objectives, promoting academic success and personal growth.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a sense of community and respect among students.

  • Monitor student progress and report back to educators and the SEN department, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Attend staff training and development sessions, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Passionate about education and working with young people, with a strong desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, educators, and colleagues.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced educational environment.
  • A strong sense of empathy and patience when working with students with different abilities and needs.
  • Organised, with good time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential).
  • Degree or relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential).
