Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with experienced educators to provide support to students with special educational needs or those requiring additional help.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons, ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience.
- Work one-to-one or in small groups with students to help them achieve their learning objectives, promoting academic success and personal growth.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a sense of community and respect among students.
- Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies, ensuring students receive tailored support.
- Monitor student progress and report back to educators and the SEN department, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Engage with wider school activities and events, developing your teaching experience and skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
- Attend staff training and development sessions, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
- Passionate about education and working with young people, with a strong desire to make a positive impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, educators, and colleagues.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced educational environment.
- A strong sense of empathy and patience when working with students with different abilities and needs.
- Organised, with good time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential).
- Degree or relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential).
