Job Summary:
We are seeking a Director of Child Involvement to lead our participation strategy, working closely with children, young people, and staff to ensure that their voices are heard and valued. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a participation strategy that promotes child involvement and engagement
• Work closely with children, young people, and staff to understand their needs and preferences
• Ensure that participation activity is coordinated and effective
• Provide feedback and evaluation on consultation outcomes
• Drive the recruitment and support of Young Ambassadors
Requirements:
• Experience of leading participation strategies in children's services
• Strong understanding of child development and participation principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with children, young people, and staff
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
