Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled social worker to join our team in Liverpool, providing vital support to children and families across the city.

The role involves working closely with children who are at risk of family breakdown, struggling with emotional and behavioural difficulties, experiencing neglect, domestic abuse, parental mental health issues, or substance/alcohol misuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide targeted support to children who are at risk of family breakdown.
  • To work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • To assess and manage complex cases, ensuring the needs of each child are met.
  • To maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of best practice within the team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or relevant qualification.
  • Proven experience in a social work role, preferably with children and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel within the Liverpool area.
