Lead Participation Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our participation strategy, ensuring that children and young people have a real influence on their services. As part of our Children and Young People's Directorate, you will be responsible for delivering outcomes and supporting children to express themselves.
Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee participation activity across the service
• Coordinate implementation of Mind of My Own
• Support child involvement in corporate parenting committee
• Provide feedback on consultation outcomes
• Drive Young Ambassadors recruitment and support
Requirements:
• Leadership experience in Children's Services
• Strong project management and quality assurance skills
• Ability to write complex reports and policy documents
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience in children's services who is passionate about promoting child participation and involvement.
