Academic Position Overview
University College of Estate Management (UCEM) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Leader to join our team as a Senior Lecturer in Renewable Energy and the Environment. This is a key academic position within the School of the Built Environment, delivering, developing, and monitoring the performance of postgraduate and/or undergraduate modules within a specific subject discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment to students in the field of renewable energy and sustainability.
- Support and manage the development and delivery of modules related to renewable energy and the built environment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development through scholarly activity, research, industry liaison, and engagement with UCEM staff development activities.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field, such as renewable energy, engineering, or environmental science.
- Proven experience in teaching and research in the field of renewable energy and sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and industry partners.
- Ability to support the development and launch of new programs, including the proposed MSc Renewable Energy and Technology.
