Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Academic Leader to join our team at University College of Estate Management (UCEM). As a Senior Lecturer in Renewable Energy and the Environment, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment in our postgraduate and undergraduate programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver modules in Renewable Energy and Sustainability, ensuring alignment with UCEM's strategic objectives.
- Support the development and launch of new programs, including the proposed MSc Renewable Energy and Technology.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment strategies, ensuring they are relevant and effective.
- Engage with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure our programs meet the needs of the sector.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
- PhD in a relevant field, such as Renewable Energy, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
- Proven experience in teaching and research in Renewable Energy and Sustainability.
- Strong industry connections and a track record of collaboration with industry partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to academic excellence.
