We are seeking an exceptional Academic Leader to join our team at University College of Estate Management (UCEM). As a Senior Lecturer in Renewable Energy and Engineering, you will play a key role in enhancing our academic presence in teaching and research, while further developing our sustainability agenda and curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Research: Provide high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment in the field of renewable energy and engineering.
- Module Development: Support and manage the development and delivery of modules within the School of the Built Environment.
- Scholarly Activity: Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development through scholarly activity, research, industry liaison, and engagement with UCEM staff development activities.
- Industry and Academic Experience: Ideally, you will have a blend of industry and academic experience, although we would be particularly keen to hear from experienced construction quantity surveyors or construction managers looking to move into teaching and research.
- Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor Level: Currently working as a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor level in a related discipline.
- Key Skills: Able to support the development and launch of new programmes, particularly in the area of renewable energy and technology.
