Job Description
This SEN teaching assistant role involves working closely with a Year 6 pupil who has ASD and ADHD. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to enhance the pupil's learning experience. This may include tasks such as:
  • Supporting children's behavior for learning in the classroom
  • Helping children understand teacher instructions
  • Working one-on-one or in small groups with learners in the classroom or Learning Support department
  • Tracking and recording pupil progress

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • Experience working with SEN children
  • Knowledge of ASD and ADHD support strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
