Career Development Opportunity in SEN
Complete Classroom Services is seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as an SEN Teaching Assistant. This rewarding role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience working with children aged 4 to 16 with autism, ranging from low to high-support needs.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to help students build essential life skills, manage emotions, and make academic progress. You will work closely with children, analysing how autism interacts with social, cultural, and environmental factors that shape each child's experiences, positively and negatively. You will also engage with various therapeutic approaches, including sensory integration, speech and language support, and behaviour management strategies.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of £95-£110 per day, paid bi-weekly. You will also receive comprehensive training and support to develop your skills and knowledge in SEN education. Our team is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment, where every child can thrive.
Key Skills and Attributes
We are looking for candidates who are empathetic and reflective, with a genuine passion for supporting children with autism. You should be intrigued by the impact of societal and environmental factors on children's mental health and learning. Resilience and adaptability are key, as you will need to manage challenges while prioritising the children's safety and progress. A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
