Speech Therapist for Autism and Trauma Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Specialist in Child Development, you will provide clinical services to children with communication difficulties and work with the Youth Justice Service and community caseload. Your expertise in autism and trauma will be invaluable in this role.

The successful candidate will have a recognized degree in speech and language therapy and be HCPC registered. Experience of working in the Youth Justice system, childhood trauma, and assessing children for an MDT Autism assessment is essential. You will also need excellent interpersonal skills, analytical and reflection skills, and the ability to prioritize caseloads.

We offer a competitive salary range of £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as benefits including 27 days annual leave/year plus bank holidays, incremental pay progression, and a generous NHS pension scheme.
