**Job Overview:** Special Needs Education Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate special needs education assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Cheshire, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to provide high-quality education and care to meet the needs of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support to students with ASC.
  • Assist teachers in delivering maths and English lessons.
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans in collaboration with teachers, therapists, and other staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with Autism Spectrum Condition.
  • Relevant qualifications in SEN, childcare, or education.
  • Training in Team Teach or equivalent de-escalation techniques.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
  • Breakfast, break and lunch provided free of charge.
