Job Description

We are seeking a Configuration Management Expert to join our Engineering delivery teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Configuration Management activities including CM Planning, Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting and Audit / Verification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Configuration Management plans including generation and review of CM Plan.
  • Identify and control configuration items.
  • Manage Change Control Boards including configuration status input to the Board.
  • Generate and maintain Configuration Baselines.
  • Verify and audit configuration data.
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to ensure project dataset is maintained and configuration controlled.

Requirements

  • A good understanding of Configuration Management in accordance with DEF STAN 05-57.
  • Excellent practical understanding of the five key elements of Configuration Management: Planning, Identification, Change Management, Status Accounting and Audit / Verification.
  • Experience of practical application of CM2 methodology.
  • Configuration Management experience in the development of Safety critical products.
  • Use of Product Management Tools such as Teamcenter version 13 (Unified) and SAP.
