Leidos is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for hardware, asset management, and remote access configuration.
  • Maintain Windows and SQL Server environments.
  • Configure and install APC UPS's.
  • Maintain Linux systems.

Collaboration:

  • Work with Development and Testing implementation departments on checkpoint systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Technical: Provide technical support and maintenance for checkpoint automation, PC, and server hardware.
  • Time Management: Ability to organize time to prioritize workload and meet department objectives.
  • Communication: Effectively liaise with all stakeholders.
  • Team Working: Work within the Service Department and with the Development and Testing implementation departments on current and future systems.
  • Cross Functional Working: Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve successful maintenance of checkpoint assets.
  • Health & Safety: Always follow and promote Group and Company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Solid working knowledge of: Windows Server, SQL Server, Linux, Windows Operating System, Network Infrastructure and cabling.
  • High level of problem solving capability.
  • Root cause analysis and technical report writing.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Experience:

  • High level IT knowledge and proven experience of working successfully within a technical support role.
  • Wide ranging technical background.
  • Previous experience in all or some of the following areas: Automation, Control systems.
  • Kubernetes configuration experience.
  • Controls experience and understanding of the interfaced systems.

Qualifications:

  • Higher level qualifications or equivalent.
  • IT, Controls qualifications to be taken into consideration.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to support on-site across region and travel as required.
  • Flexible approach to work office hours and provide out of office hours support, when required.
  • 5 Year traceable work history for airside passes and CTS checks.
  • Valid UK Passport.
