We are seeking an experienced Application Management Support Officer to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Sophis - portfolio management and risk management for equity and equity derivatives trading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for front office and post-trade applications.
  • Support business users with second- and third-line support.
  • Manage new system analysis and implementation.
  • Provide incident management per ITIL standards.
  • Manage vendor system upgrades and implementation.
  • Manage exchange relationships and project manage mandatory upgrades.

Requirements

  • Solid background in Windows, Linux/Unix OS.
  • In-depth understanding of Sophis - portfolio management and risk management for equity and equity derivatives trading.
  • Experience gained in a financial services background.
  • Experience with ITIL and change management processes.
  • Good knowledge of Fix Messaging protocol and market connectivity protocols.
