Our client, a global leader in Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and backup power systems, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to diverse locations across the UK, working on exciting projects and collaborating with a talented team.
  • Verify the installation of UPS equipment, performing functional tests, electrical troubleshooting, and software updates.
  • Work flexible hours, often away from home, Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of electricity and electronics in the context of AC and DC power conversion equipment.
  • Skilled in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and one-line diagrams.
  • Proficient with test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and load banks.
  • Experience with field service on UPS systems, rectifiers, inverters, or DC-DC converters is preferred.
