Job Description

Installation Supervisor

BEUMER Group is a leading provider of intralogistics systems, and we are seeking an experienced Installation Supervisor to join our team. As an Installation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of sortation and material handling systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the installation of sortation and material handling systems, including health and safety, quality, and progress.
  • Lead and manage a team of subcontractors and workers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Plan and coordinate equipment deliveries, installation schedules, and quality control checklists.
  • Ensure compliance with BEUMER Group processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Electrical engineering background (HNC/HND or equivalent) and experience in controlling multi-discipline teams within a construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety, with experience in installing material handling systems.
  • CSCS, SSSTS, or SMSTS certification (preferred), First Aid at Work, IPAF, IOSH, or NEBOSH (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, with frequent overnight stays.
