Job Overview

ABEI ENERGY is a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) specializing in renewable energy projects. We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Project Manager for Permitting to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reviewing consultant-produced technical reports and producing project programs.
  • Submitting planning applications and participating in internal and external meetings, briefings, and communications.
  • Engaging with Local Authorities, statutory/non-statutory consultees, and public stakeholders, including coordinating and attending public engagement events.
  • Coordinating with the UK Project Development team for schedules and deliverables.
  • Reviewing Invitation to Tenders (ITTs) and received fee proposals.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Environmental Impact Assessment/Environmental Consultancy/Town Planning, or similar.
  • Bachelors degree in the above is acceptable, depending on experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related roles, e.g., Senior Planner, Senior EIA coordinator.
  • Experience in Town and Country Planning Act planning submissions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat package proficiency.
  • Qgis/ArcGis – Intermediate level.
  • Google Earth.
  • Spanish will be considered a plus.
