As a Strategic Account Manager at Wesco International, Inc., you will play a critical role in maintaining and developing key relationships with our most strategic clients. Your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, while also ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive revenue growth and customer engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities to deliver value.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that meet customer needs and drive business results.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities at key accounts, including renewals, projects, and share improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate customer activity, opportunity status, and strategic plan progress to management.
  • Participate in solution development efforts that address customer needs and drive business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; 5+ years of sales experience in outside sales or 3+ years of strategic account and/or sales management experience.
  • Proven track record of success in maintaining and developing key relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand customer needs and identify opportunities to deliver value.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
