A leading global technology company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Government Relations Manager to join their UK team. As a key member of the government relations department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's reputation and relationships with government officials in Westminster and Whitehall.

The ideal candidate will have strong networks and links across government, along with an excellent understanding of the UK political process and how government develops policy. You will be responsible for identifying key policy and political issues, developing strategic plans, and driving these plans forward in line with agreed company positions.

In addition, you will raise awareness and drive the brand through maintenance and building of relationships with government officials. You will also provide succinct written and verbal briefs for colleagues and team members, as well as frequent internal communication and reporting to update the wider team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify key policy and political issues and develop strategic plans
  • Raise awareness and drive the brand through relationship-building with government officials
  • Provide clear and concise briefs for colleagues and team members
  • Maintain and build relationships with trade associations
