Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Cash Operations Lead to join our team at Informa Global Support. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our cash operations function, driving improvements in efficiency and effectiveness across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team responsible for end-to-end monitoring of bank and credit card merchant processes, ensuring effective controls and access management.
  • Raise the bar on management processes, ensuring the Cash Operations team monitors clearing of open items with relevant teams (e.g., P2P, O2C).
  • Mentor and develop the Cash Operations team to deliver a best-in-class cash operations model.
  • Serve as the key liaison with Group Treasury, owning all Shared Services Centre (SSC) aspects of Group Treasury Policy.
  • Oversee transitions of banks and credit card merchants in and out of the model.
  • Drive auto matching rate improvements across ERPs.
  • Monitor direct debit arrangements, ensuring appropriate usage.
  • Present monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring timely submission with clear action plans for aged open items.
  • Enhance cash operations through technology, process, and policy improvements.
  • Advise Informa on banking matters related to acquisitions and disposals.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure transition, project, and BAU operation requirements are met.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Bld and maintain an efficient team; recruit top talent against competency frameworks and plan succession effectively.
  • Keep SOPs and DTPs up-to-date during periods of change.
  • Guarantee the cash operations function's fitness for purpose with sound processes and controls.
  • Be the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors.

Qualifications and Skills:

We seek someone with extensive experience in Cash Management, strong functional knowledge of bank and credit card merchant processes, and bank reconciliation expertise. A Chartered Accountancy qualification is desirable.

A proven track record of successfully leading a global team, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will be essential for this role.

This position can be based in either London or Colchester, with regular travel to our Colchester office.
