Job Title: Certification Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certification Specialist to join our team at CDM Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating on design and development projects, adhering to the approved stage gate process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on design and development projects, adhering to the approved stage gate process.
  • Innovate new products and enhance existing designs based on provided briefs.
  • Prepare technical drawings using 3D CAD modelling and 2D drawing software in a timely manner.
  • Modify drawings and components in accordance with quality assurance systems and procedures.
  • Generate and maintain parts lists and bill of materials, ensuring compliance with QA procedures.
  • Liaise with certification bodies, providing requested approval drawings promptly.
  • Understand relevant European and International standards and directives.
  • Conduct testing on prototypes and modified components, ensuring proper documentation and storage of test reports.
  • Provide technical assistance to the sales department and customers regarding product information and application training.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal departments and across the British Engines group.
  • Familiarize yourself with quality assurance systems in place.
  • Carry out additional duties as needed to support the team.

  • Self-motivated with an innovative problem-solving approach.
  • Strong attention to detail with CAD skills.
