Trauma Responsive Community Development Specialist

Establish a sustainable presence in Manchester's communities through trauma-responsive community development.
Funded by a 1-year grant, this part-time role (29.6 hours/week) supports the development of trauma-informed community hubs across the city. You will work with local partners to create resilient communities and promote individual well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, young people, and their families.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with community members, and have a deep understanding of trauma-informed practices. As a Trauma Responsive Community Development Worker, you will contribute to creating a culture of care and support within the community.
Please note that this contract is due to expire on 31st January 2026, subject to funding extension. We offer a competitive salary (£25,000 - £30,000 per annum), flexible working arrangements, and a range of benefits.
