Job Title: Product Management Leader

ZipRecruiter is seeking a Product Management Leader to join our team. As a Product Management Leader, you will be responsible for building the next generation of IT products to prepare our organization for the management of business operations of the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Director of Product & Customer Success to align the product strategy with the needs of the team.
  • Uncover underlying customer needs by understanding end-user perspectives and pain points through research, empathy building, and sentiment monitoring.
  • Partner with engineering, UX, and external vendors to assess build vs. buy opportunities.

As a Product Management Leader, you will be responsible for managing the delivery cycle to take ideas from concept to implementation. This includes:

  • Refining requirements based on prototyping, hands-on testing, and iterative feedback.
  • Creating end-to-end product releases, including feature design, integrations, data migration, and cutover from legacy applications.
  • Managing delivery plans, issues, and decisions, anticipating risk and ensuring focus stays on maximizing value within a timeline and resource constraints.

You will also be responsible for facilitating collaboration with team member groups to lead process, people, and policy changes to enhance product changes. Additionally, you will build awareness, excitement, and knowledge of new features through customer communication channels and potentially training material creation and facilitation of training sessions.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Experience with Software Asset Management is essential.
  • Experience of products & processes in the Software and Asset Management area.

Proactive, organized, and detailed planning, including timeline and budget considerations, are essential for this role.
