About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dynamic Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to patients in our secure and specialist facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inpatient admissions and conduct comprehensive assessments to develop effective care plans.
- Lead and supervise a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
- Clinical leadership and decision-making to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Collaborate with other services and agencies to provide seamless care and support.
- Implement and manage complex cases, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and well-being.
Requirements
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Excellent knowledge in specialty and excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Able to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty.
