About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Specialist to join our patient transport team at Secure Care UK.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with mental health conditions. As a Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing safe and respectful transportation services to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide a professional and caring service for all patients while in our care, ensuring that their safety remains paramount at all times.
  • To support and transport vulnerable service users as part of a team.
  • To support the care of patients during assessments in line with the Mental Health Act.
  • To maintain high standards of driving and cleanliness when using company vehicles and equipment.
  • To ensure that appropriate lifting and handling techniques are applied as per training when moving patients under non-emergency conditions.
  • In the event of an incident, to administer first aid commensurate to your training and/or provide social care in non-emergency situations.
  • To adhere to statutory regulations and organisational policies and procedures at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A full UK manual driving license with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
