Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Care Assistant to work in a care home based in the East Sussex area. You will be working for a leading healthcare provider.

This care home offers nursing and specialist nursing dementia care within a friendly home environment. Every detail of the home is created to enhance the independence and dignity of residents and to foster a community of friendship.

As a Care Assistant, your key duties include:

  • Developing and reviewing individual care plans for residents
  • Providing personal and social care in accordance with individual care plans to enhance residents' wellbeing
  • Attending and contributing to resident review meetings
  • Meeting the personal and social care needs of residents in a way that respects their dignity and promotes wellbeing and independence

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • Previous care experience is desirable, and we'll provide all the training and support you need to thrive
  • Having a kind, warm, and caring nature
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Patience, communication, and listening skills are equally important
