Care Support Worker

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Care Assistant to work in a leading care home based in the East Sussex area. You will be working for a renowned healthcare provider.
This care home offers nursing and specialist nursing dementia care within a friendly home environment. Every detail of the home is designed to enhance the independence and dignity of residents and to foster a community of friendship.
As a Care Assistant, your key duties will include:
- Participating in developing and reviewing individual care plans for residents
- Providing personal and social care in accordance with individual care plans to enhance the residents' social, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing
- Attending and contributing to resident review meetings
- Meeting the personal and social care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes wellbeing and independence
The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:
- Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential, and we will provide all the training and support you need to thrive
- Having a kind, warm, and caring nature
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Patience, communication, and listening skills are equally important
The successful Care Assistant will receive an excellent salary of £12.65 per hour and the annual salary £21,707.40 per annum.
