Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team in Hastings, East Sussex. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to young individuals who sustained a brain injury during birth due to not getting enough oxygen to their brain. They have some physical impairments and autistic tendencies resulting in a very structured day plan.
Working Hours:
Wednesday: 14:30 – 21:00
Thursday: 09:00 – 17:00
Every other Saturday: 09:00 – 17:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering personalized care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- Relevant qualifications in health and social care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
