Job Opportunity: Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at SEND Recruitment, working with children and young people with complex autism, learning difficulties, and behaviors that challenge. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering speech, language, and communication support within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide both one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs, enhancing communication skills and overall quality of life.
  • Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals to create and implement personalized learning and therapy plans.
  • Act as a consultant for the teaching staff, advising on strategies to promote speech, language, and communication development.

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist with experience working with children and young people with SEND.
  • Strong understanding of autism, communication disorders, and sensory integration issues, especially in an educational setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, balancing individual therapy with group work to meet the diverse needs of students.

Salary Estimate: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum. Job Type: Permanent. On-site parking available Monday to Friday.
