Pulse Healthcare seeks a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Chester town centre.
This full-time or part-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary of £49,000 - £59,000 depending on experience.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work in a special education school with 108 pupils aged 4-19 years with complex autism, learning difficulties and behaviours that challenge.
Responsibilities include delivering bespoke therapy, advising on speech and language development, and contributing to annual review and EHCP reporting.
Main Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure each pupil's needs are understood, accurately planned for and closely monitored.
- Assess and address pupils' need for and use of alternative/ augmentative communication (AAC) devices.
- Develop and implement positive behaviour support plans in collaboration with behaviour analysts and class teachers.
