The Role:The successful candidate will provide a multi-skilled maintenance service across the site, covering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building fabrication. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing reactive and proactive maintenance services to all equipment, ensuring high standards and optimal performance.
- Carrying out modifications and installations as required, with a focus on cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Providing technical support and input to projects, with a continuous focus on improving equipment efficiencies.
- Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation plant, optimizing reliability and maintainability.
- Completing manual handling tasks as required and making effective use of tools and equipment provided.
Working hours are Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift pattern, with flexibility required for call-outs and overtime paid at 1.25 of pay per hour.
The Candidate:Experience in planned preventative and reactive maintenance regimes for heavy-duty machinery is essential. Knowledge of safe working practices on electrical/mechanical building services is also required.
A positive team player with the ability to work alone and use own initiative is necessary. Confident and flexible approach to work, with the ability to respond to different situations, is also required.
