Job Title: Head of Business Development and Operations

HPRExecutive is seeking an exceptional individual to lead one of their divisions, driving growth, ensuring profitability, and aligning the business unit's objectives with the company's overall strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the business unit's overall objectives
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all business activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Develop and manage the business unit's budget
  • Ensure financial targets are met and drive initiatives to improve profitability
  • Monitor financial performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate operational performance
  • Analyse data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal requirements
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders & provide regular updates on business performance
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally
Requirements:
  • Commercial and operational experience gained within a fast-paced, technical manufacturing and service business for example fuel, energy, EV or environmental organisation
  • Extensive contract management experience delivering for customers under strict SLA regimes
  • Extensive commercial experience in a B2B contract-driven environment
  • Proven ability to balance commercial opportunity with operational capability while maximising profitability
