About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the presentation of trains meets the required specifications as outlined in the Train Presentation Handbook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure personal safety and that of others at all times, including visitors and contractors.
  • Provide proactive information to deliver higher and improved train presentation standards.
  • Report defects found.
  • Carry out Environmental Exams and report defects as necessary.
  • Advise on all work carried out.
  • Work to comply with South West Trains quality procedures.
  • Work in a safe manner using required personal protection equipment supplied.
  • Observe COSHH regulations in place.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good knowledge of all carriage cleaning procedures, specifications, and COSHH regulations.
  • Basic communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements.
Working Pattern

Working an average of 37 hours per week, with flexible roster starting 2200-0600, including some weekends and bank holidays.
