VANRATH is assisting a leading company in Northern Ireland and Ireland with the recruitment of a Commercial Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate operational and sales teams to deliver exceptional performance by setting clear objectives and targets, monitoring, and reviewing progress and supporting them in the delivery of their targets.
  • Work to maximize efficiencies and operations in line with Key Performance and budget expectations.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to support delivery of client projects/requirements.
  • Prepare and implement plans for new projects in line with company objectives.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the business meets its objectives.
  • Ensure compliance & contractual requirements are met (both internal and external), identify and highlight any gaps/risks and put appropriate measures in place to eliminate the same.
  • Develop and control operational budgets to promote profitability and ensure the company has the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters.
  • Tendering and Contract Negotiation experience is essential for this role.
  • Large scale projects across Ireland & Europe are highly sought after.
  • Demonstrable experience of customer relationship management.
  • Good financial and business acumen with experience of managing budgets.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills to include contract negotiations.

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 Base (Negotiable Salary) + Fantastic Benefits Package

Location: Glengormley/ Newtownabbey

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (Friday Work From Home)
