Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned professional to take on the challenge of leading our waste management team in the UK as the Head of Radiation Protection and Waste Management.

Main Objectives
  • Project Delivery: Lead the delivery of waste management and radiation protection aspects of client projects at UK nuclear sites, ensuring a client-centric approach.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the global sales organisation to identify new opportunities in the waste management market, driving long-term growth.
  • Technical Input: Provide technical expertise to the SMART Project and participate in related stakeholder discussions.
  • Team Management: Work closely with all functions and departments to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Experienced leader with a nuclear waste management or technical background.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a coaching style of leadership.
  • Nuclear Network: Established network of personal contacts with key UK nuclear clients would be beneficial.
Location and Benefits

The role can be based at our offices in Cumbria or near Preston, with occasional travel throughout the UK and Europe.

Estimated Salary: £105,000 - £135,000 per annum, depending on experience.
