Site Manufacturing Manager

Princes Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manufacturing Manager to lead our largest food production site in the UK. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring optimum efficiency and effective delivery against performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Long Sutton Manufacturing and Logistics teams to ensure the efficient delivery of business objectives.
  • Develop and execute improvement plans covering all operational KPIs within the scope of the role.
  • Ensure manufacturing data is accurate, recorded appropriately, and reported in a timely manner.
  • Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels, managing holiday allowances, recruitment, training, development, appraisal, attendance, disciplinary issues, and daily supervision to maximise efficient productivity.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements.
Requirements:
  • Experience of manufacturing management at a senior level.
  • Key success/achievement in change management.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean work practices or Six Sigma.
  • Experience of working with an end-to-end manufacturing execution system.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Proven record of delivering continuous improvement and waste reduction activity.
