Educational Specialist for SEND Support

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educational specialist to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As an SEN/SEND tutor, you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Somerset and Bristol.

This is a flexible part-time opportunity that suits your schedule, with occasional remote jobs and online teaching assignments available. You will have access to extensive CPD and upskilling opportunities, including the full Tes CPD suite.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, preferably with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs. You must be able to work in a way that promotes the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people, following safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Planning engaging sessions that meet individual needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress
