Job Title: Business Growth Strategist

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Intercity Technology. This individual will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying and securing new sales opportunities within targeted markets, sectors, or regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cloud and Security sales and be able to win new business across our comprehensive portfolio of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve quarterly and monthly 'New Business' Gross Profit targets, as well as Managed Services connections targets.
  • Product Advocacy: Promote all Cloud and Security products and services offered by Intercity Technology Ltd to secure new business opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless new business provisioning.
  • Opportunity Development: Identify and develop emerging opportunities through engagement with Cloud and Security sales specialists and pre-sales teams.
  • Knowledge Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest Cloud and Security trends and products to drive business growth.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of all activity in the CRM system and complete other ad hoc reports as required.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in winning new business within the Cloud and Security industry.
  • A proven track record of consistently achieving new business targets.
  • The ability to confidently converse with and present to senior management and directors.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 23 days annual leave, an additional day for birthdays, and 8 bank holidays, with entitlement increasing by one day for each full calendar year worked, up to a maximum of five days.
